Ola Roadster X Plus Electric Motorcycle Has An Astonishing 501km Range!
Ola has revealed the prices for its Roadster X Plus electric motorcycle in India with a starting price of 1.05 lakh while the top-end version is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh, while these prices are introductory. The 9.1 kwh battery pack version has a huge range of 501km! This is a motorcycle based on the latest Ola Gen 3 platform while the power on offer is 11kw along with a top-speed of 125 km/h. The Ola Roadster X Plus electric has three riding modes, an LCD dashboard, reverse mode, regenerative braking, single-channel ABS, OTA updates and brake-by-wire. The design is a bit retro but has a clean look to it while there is not much differentiation between the two variants. The motor is a mid-drive mounted motor with an integrated ICU. The MoveOS 5 also brings in more features as shared above. Design wise there is full LED lighting while the square-ish shape has a retro vibe. The Bharat Cell for the battery pack is made in the Ola Gigafactory and the big battery size is the reason for the massive range which is for the 9.1 kwh version. Colours for this bike include Ceramic White, Pine Green, Industrial Silver, Stellar Blue plus Anthracite. The 9.1kWh variant deliveries will start from next quarter onwards later after the 4.5kWh version. The electric motorcycle space has less competition over the electric scooter space but with this offering, Ola electric plans to expand its range and appeal to motorcycle buyers too.
