Updated 2025 Kia Seltos Vs Syros: Which Car Is More Value For Money?
Kia recently updated the Seltos range in India while prices are now rejigged with eight new variants across the Smartstream G1.5 and D1.5 CRDi VGT engine options and with these additions, now Seltos is available in 24 trims across different variants. Prices for the new Seltos start at Rs 11.13 Lakhs for the HTE(O) and go up to Rs 20.50 Lakhs for the X-Line version while the Syros starts from 9 lakh while top-end is Rs 17.80 lakh. The Seltos overall gains more value and the panoramic sunroof equipped model is under Rs 13 lakh. The variant line-up and the engines on offer are different with both. The Syros only has a turbo petrol while the Seltos has a naturally aspirated 1.5l too which is more efficient if not as powerful. There is a turbo petrol on the Seltos but that is a more powerful 1.5l turbo. Both have a diesel engine. If you want more space, then the Syros offers it more with a larger rear seat with more rear seat features. It has better headroom too. Design wise, both have premium cabins while the Syros and Seltos offer nearly the same features but Seltos goes slightly ahead in some areas. In terms of value for money, the larger Seltos starting range with the 1.5 NA CVT is a good option for self driven owners while the Syros is more for those who need more space and practicality. The Seltos is the better car to drive and more fun while having the more appealing styling but the Syros is tuned towards practicality and space.
